Recent scientific studies warn that the planet is losing biodiversity at an unprecedented rate, rapidly approaching a point of no return. According to estimates by the World Economic Forum, by 2020, more than half of the global economic value generated depends moderately or heavily on nature and is therefore exposed to its loss, which translates into huge risks for companies and their value chains.
With the act4nature Portugal initiative, BCSD Portugal continues to mobilize companies to act in favor of nature, implementing actions to protect, promote and restore biodiversity and ecosystem services that contribute to halting and reversing their loss by 2030.
Sovena joined Unidos Contra o Desperdício, through Fula and Oliveira da Serra brands. This is a platform promoted in Portugal by Banco Alimentar.Unidos contra o desperdício
