New Oliveira da Serra 1st Harvest Olive Oil 2024/2025 Celebrates the Biodiversity of the Olive Grove

Oliveira da Serra celebrates biodiversity with the launch of the 1st Harvest Olive Oil 2024/2025, a limited edition of 100% Portuguese extra virgin olive oil. This olive oil represents the first fruit of the annual harvest and captures the freshness and intensity of the season's first olives. More than just a quality olive oil, it is a testament to the brand's commitment to sustainable farming practices and the conservation of the ecosystem and biodiversity of its olive grove.

Produced in the Alentejo, the Oliveira da Serra 1st Harvest Olive Oil reflects respect for nature, visible in agricultural practices that maximize carbon retention, protect water resources, and conserve the biodiversity of the olive grove. The brand reserves over 500 hectares exclusively for environmental preservation, where native fauna and flora thrive, maintaining these areas as ecological sanctuaries that help protect local species. In addition to contributing to environmental balance, these areas are essential for biological control and soil health, while species that inhabit them, such as birds, bats, and butterflies, help pollinate and monitor the quality of the ecosystem.

To celebrate this launch, Oliveira da Serra organized two exclusive events at its mill: one for journalists and another for influencers. During these gatherings, guests had the opportunity to learn more about the brand's sustainable practices, explore the production process of the 1st Harvest Olive Oil, and experience the essence of the commitment to biodiversity conservation.

Fula and EcoX Launch "Chef Scientist" Project to Encourage Recycling of Used Cooking Oil in Schools

Fula and EcoX have launched the educational project "Chef Scientist: Fula + EcoX," an innovative initiative that brought science and awareness about the recycling of used cooking oil (UCO) to schools. Through an interactive activity in various schools, the project aimed to educate young people about the importance of UCO recycling, allowing them to experience the transformation of used oil into liquid soap.

The star of the project was the "Chef Scientist Kit: Fula + EcoX," developed by Science4you. This kit, which allowed for the creation of liquid soap from UCO, included a Fula funnel, a reagent, dyes, and a gently scented peach base.

The Kico agency, specialized in children's activities, was responsible for organizing the school sessions with Chef Scientist Pipa, a character created to lead the educational sessions. Pipa demonstrated the kit in the classroom, guiding the students through the UCO recycling process, from filtration to the final mix, fostering inspiring learning. After the demonstration, students took the kits home, where they could repeat the experience with their families, further reinforcing the educational impact of the project.

With this initiative, Fula and EcoX reinforced their commitment to educating and raising awareness about UCO recycling. The project demonstrated that through a practical and pedagogical approach, it is possible to educate for recycling.

This pilot project took place in November and December in several schools in the Lisbon area.

Andorinha Cart: a sensory and gastronomic experience in São Paulo

The Andorinha olive oil offers a sensory and gastronomic experience that invites visitors at a renowned shopping center in São Paulo to explore the world of olive oils. With a versatile and customized cart, visitors will have the opportunity to taste different olive oils while also observing the various stages of production, from the reception of olives at the mill to the extraction of the oil.

The aim is to immerse the public in the olive oil production process and showcase the entire brand portfolio, including the latest release, OLI, allowing each person to create their own olive oil blend.

OLI is the first product on the market that allows consumers to create their own olive oil, choosing from three distinct profiles: intense, medium, and mild. With its customization concept, OLI stands out as a sophisticated option for gifting, especially for special occasions and the festive holiday season.

Collab Andorinha x Estrela – Launch of Oli

For many, cooking is more than just a chore – it’s a moment of leisure, pleasure, and relaxation, where recipes and pairings can be experimented with. To celebrate the launch of OLI, the first “do-it-yourself” product on the market that allows consumers to create their own olive oil blend (choosing between three distinct profiles: intense, medium, and mild), Andorinha olive oil has teamed up with the toy brand Estrela to create a kit inspired by the LAB game. The goal is to encourage people to awaken the little scientist within, making their recipes even more special and personalized.

The spices in the kit were carefully selected by the experts: chef Rodrigo Oliveira and olive oil expert Ana Beloto. The instruction manual includes exclusive suggestions on how to use these spices to infuse the olive oils, further enhancing the flavor and creativity in the kitchen. Additionally, the kit includes an apron, glasses, and a decanter. This novelty offers a personalized experience through a nostalgic immersion.

The campaign was carried out with influencers and content creators through a UGC (User Generated Content) campaign, generating native content on Instagram and TikTok about the collaboration, with the creation of different personalized olive oil blends infused with Oli.

Andorinha Christmas Campaign 2024

To celebrate Christmas 2024 with consumers, Andorinha launched a portfolio campaign featuring both OOH (Out Of Home) and UGC (User Generated Content), focusing on Andorinha Olive Oil. The campaign features humorous copy based on common jokes that arise when families gather for Christmas dinner.

Additionally, to promote sales on e-commerce, the materials include a QR Code that directs customers straight to the product’s sales page. In just a few clicks, consumers can purchase their favorite olive oil.

Partnership with Rita Lobo
